BLACK LIVES MATTER

Nicole Bratcher-Bouyer is an 18 year-old African-American woman. She attends the prestigious Historically Black College/University (HBCU), Howard University, where she studies broadcast journalism. Nicole is a strong hearted African-American who believes that her people and culture are unique, delicate, and important.

Bouyer is a descendent of Civil Rights Activist. Growing up around parents and

grandparents who lived through racial segregation and opression, instilled something deep inside of Nicole that made her appreciate her Blackness and everything her culture stands for.

 

Being so pro-black, it is not hard to conclude that Nicole is an activist for the #BlackLivesMatter movement that has been sweeping the nation and social media. She plans to use her journalism degree to always keep the world informed about injustices within it, espeacially those pertaining to Black people.
